This step up is from the living room. Great size dining room. The wall partitions really closed it off. Plus, the green walls make it dark.
This light fixture that was missing some key components like a socket but came equipped with lots of exposed wires was probably not helping create a light airy feeling.
I guess they were trying to coordinate the shelves in the living room to tie into the dining room. Just didn't work.
Then this is the doorway that led into the kitchen. That wall to the right was part of that partition wall from earlier. If you look to the left of this picture you can just barely see a little bit of the wet bar (more on that later.)
