The Beginning

As some of you know, we just recently bought a new house. We have quite possibly lost our minds. After looking for about two years, we finally found one that was (1.) one that we both liked. (2.) in our price range. (3.) in one of the neighborhoods we were looking in. It was a foreclosure property which is the reason it fit into category 2. But because it was a foreclosure, they generally require some TLC. Or in the case of this house, some TOUGH LOVE...real TOUGH LOVE.


We closed last week and have been in and out all week this week trying to figure out where to start because the list is so very long my friends. Last week the girls and I began to Kilz the walls because the previous owner had a series of tragic paint color selections...all in very bold colors and in high gloss finish. The good thing about this is that the previous owner also had similarly poor carpet choices, so it didn't make a difference if they dripped paint everywhere. Go ahead...drip away!!!!!!

This is Spring Break week. The girls have been shipped off to CAMP MIMI & GAA. Let the real work begin.
